Semi-DIY Wreath

DIY

wreath1 I decided early this year that I wanted to try to put together a unique wreath to bring in the holiday season, but I didn't want it to be anything fussy or over-styled. Last week, I was strolling through the hardware section of Home Depot for some random tools (you know, the usual) when I spotted some super-discounted washers. I thought that maybe adding them to a wooden wreath might be an interesting and modern way to make something pretty cool, but I honestly had no idea how it would turn out. I'm really digging it, though!

I snagged the wreath from Michaels, and used some leftover ribbon at home to make the bow. All it took was some hot glue for the washers and the bow to stick. It's not much, but the contrast of textures looks nice, I think. It's hard to believe that Christmas is only one month away!
